Money Management Basics for Forex Traders

Money management in the foreign exchange currency market requires educating yourself in a variety of financial areas. First, a definition of the foreign exchange currency or forex market is called for. The forex market is simply the exchange of the currency of one country for the currency of another. The relative values of various currencies in the world change on a regular basis. Factors such as the stability of the economy of a country, the gross national product, the gross domestic product, inflation, interest rates, and such obvious factors as domestic security and foreign relations come into play. For instance, if a country has an unstable government, is expecting a military takeover, or is about to become involved in a war, then the country’s currency may go down in relative value compared to the currency of other countries.

There are five major forex exchange markets in the world, New York, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Tokyo and Zurich. Forex trading occurs around the clock in various markets, Asian, European, and American. With different time zones, when Asian trading stops, European trading opens, and
conversely when European trading stops, American trading opens, and when American trading stops, then it is time for Asian trading to begin again.

Most of the trading in the world occurs in the forex markets; smaller markets for trade in individual countries. Simply put forex trading is the simultaneous buying of one currency and selling of another. Over $1.4 trillion dollars, US of forex trading occurs daily and sometimes fortunes are made or lost in this market. The billionaire George Soros has made most of his money in forex trading. Successfully managing your money in forex trading requires an understanding of the bid/ask spread.

Simply put the bid ask spread is the difference between the price at which something is offered for sale and the price that it is actually purchased for. For instance, if the ask price is 100 dollars, and the bid is 102 dollars then the difference is two dollars, the spread. Many forex traders trade on margin. Trading on margin is buying and selling assets that are worth more than the money in your account. Since currency exchange rates on any given day are usually less than two percent, forex trading is done with a small margin. To use an example, with a one percent margin a trader can trade up to $250,000 even if he only has $5,000 in his account. This means the trade has leverage of 50 to one. This amount of leverage allows a trader to make good profits very quickly. Of course, with the chance of high profits also comes high risk.

People who do forex trading do so because they are attracted by 24 hour trading days, by strong liquidity unlike stocks, buying and selling is almost instantaneous and the fact that forex trading usually occurs without paying commissions.

Like many other speculative investments, a key part of money management for the forex trader is only using money that can be put at risk. It is wise to set aside a portion of your net worth and make that the only money you use in forex trading. While the chances of good profits are there, if you should have a problem and get wiped out, you’ll only have a limited amount of money placed at risk.
Also remember that the market is n constant motion. There are always trading opportunities. If a currency is becoming stronger or weaker in relation to other currencies there is always a chance for profit. For instance, if you believe that the Euro is gong to become weak compared to
the US dollar then selling Euros is a good bet. If you believe that the dollar is going to become weaker than the yen, or the pound sterling, then selling dollars is wise. Staying current on the news and current events in the countries whose currency you hold is a smart move. Many people reach points where they can predict currency changes based on political or economic news in a given country. Remember though that forex trading is speculation, so be careful when managing your funds and only invest what you can afford to risk.

Basics of SEO

Nowadays, even the smallest company uses the Internet as a main tool in building a customer base, keeping in contact with their clients and this is also their most basic means of advertising.
Designing a company web site is cheap and effective, not to mention essential because the world wide web is the only medium that offers instantaneous information access to millions of users around the globe. Any web developer worth his salt should know about search engine optimization or SEO. This is the key towards building an effective web site that would get a lot of hits and visitors. A web site that nobody visits is useless so the challenge lies in leading Internet
users to visit your web site.

Thus, your web site need to be "found" when users type in keywords in search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, AOL and others. Once a keyword relating to the products or services that you offer is keyed into a search engine, a direct link to your web site should emerge on top of the list. You should employ search engine optimization techniques to lead traffic your way, and get more hits that would later on lead to more profit for your company, which is your goal in the first place.

Here are some tips on how you can make it to the top of the list of search engines, and use your SEO techniques to benefit your web site and your company:

1. If you have an existing web site and domain, just optimize the one that you currently have instead of purchasing a new domain. It will take some time before your web site will show up in a
particular search engine, like Google, so it better to use the one that you currently have instead of switching to a new one.

2. Know who your target audience is and aim for them.
If you are in the manufacturing industry and a user types in your product in a search engine, then you would immediately have your target right in front of you. As soon as the user hits the Enter button or clicks on 'Search', then the person will be lead to your web site. Make sure that your target market will get 'hooked' on your web site. Once the search engines show the link to your web site, their job is done. What you should do next is to make sure that your visitor will not leave your web site without them trying out your products or services, or at least leaving some pertinent information so that you can contact them in the future for marketing and advertising purposes. When hitting a particular target market, learn about their interests, location and age to have an idea of what you can offer them in return. Also, you can somehow link their interests to your products and services.

3. Search for the right keyword.
You should be creative, persistent and flexible when looking for the keyword or keyword phrases to use in optimizing your web site. Google and Yahoo offer some tools and tips on how you can
come up with keywords that will yield results. Do not settle for just one keyword. You can also vary the words and phrases that you use for each page on your web site so that you can have more hits.

4. Consider your target market when designing your web site.
The design itself would include the general theme of the web site. You should also pay attention to smaller details such as color and font style and size. Make sure that the web site is user-friendly and do not forget to insert helpful articles, tips, hints and related links that can be shared to other users. It is a good thing to have an option to send a link or an article to a friend, which will add more users and increase your client base. There should also be various ways to browse through your web site, to fit each user. A person might find it to difficult use the scroll down option so you should also provide hyperlinks which are accessible to them.

5. Concentrate on the web site content.
Regularly update the content of your web site so that old and new users can find something new when browsing through your site. Make the content brief and precise. Writing a content which has more than 600 words will make the users lose interest, since most of them do not actually read but just skim through the text. Strive to be the best and most comprehensive web site and
you will make your mark when it comes to information about the products and services that you offer. It helps a lot to pay attention to detail, too. Finally, keeping your web site's content updated is a must. Spread the word about your web site and use the basic search engine optimization techniques and you will surely gain positive results once users visit your web site.

<meta name="robots" content="index,follow ">
<meta name="keyword s" Content="You r keyw ords ">
<meta name="description" Content= "Keyword-rich description" >

Make sure that your blog h as plenty of keywords and use lots of headlines containing key phrases, repeating them throughout the blog. Above all though, make sure that your blog has plenty of text. Professional Blogging Tips

Here are tips to help you blog professionally – whether you are operating your own blog or using one of the paid-to-blog companies. Many of these points are what separate the professional bloggers from the amateurs.

1. Never publish a post without ensuring that every single word is correctly spelled, that the words are used correctly in the sentence, and that the grammar and punctuation is perfect. Believe it or not, your readers will call you on poor spelling and grammar – and advertisers may as well.

2. Never publish a post unless you are absolutely sure that your facts are correct. Failure to do proper research can result in ruining your reputation not only in the market that you are blogging in, but also in the blogging community as a whole.

3. While SEO is important, your first goal should be to turn out a great blog a blog that people want to read, and can easily read. If you don’t have the ability to produce a blog that has the potential to gain readership, your blogging efforts are a waste of your time – and theirs.

4. Pay careful attention to the template or design that you choose for your blog. You don’t want anything on the page that may irritate or distract your readers. The page should be laid out in a clean and organized fashion.

5. Lighter backgrounds with darker text are easier to read. Experts recommend white backgrounds with black or navy blue text. You don’t have to go with the black/white advice, however the lighter background is highly recommended for easier reading.

6. Use the category feature of your blog! If you don’t use this feature, your visitors will not be able to find past posts that interest them easily and in most cases, they won’t even try. They may not be interested in today’s post, but they may be highly interested in a post you made three months ago. Make it easy by setting up and using categories.

7. Make sure that your content is original. You can get free content from numerous sources. Unfortunately, it is content that is being used on other websites and blogs. This hurts you in terms of search engine optimization, and it fails to give your readers ‘fresh’ material.

8. Choose a tight niche for your blog. This will eventually provide you with a closer following of dedicated readers. It also makes it easier to keep your blog organized, and you will find that your blog makes more money this way. It also reduces the amount of competition that you have overall.

9. While the niche for your blog should be tight, each blog post must be even tighter. Stick to one topic in each post that you make. Don’t drag your readers all over your blog topic. Keep it tight and stay focused – so that your readers can also stay focused.

10. Expert Opinions vary on the length of the post. Some say that you should keep it short – around 300 words. Others say that you should post between 750 and 1000 words per post. Research leans towards shorter posts, because of people’s attention spans. However, this is really dependant on your topic.

11. Keep paragraphs short and easy to read. A paragraph that covers ten lines won’t do. Keep paragraphs under five lines, if possible, but avoid paragraphs that only contain one or two sentences as well.

12. Spice up your blog with videos. You may even consider adding your podcast to your post. The videos and podcasts don’t have to be your own but they do need to be relevant, and you do need to add textual content as well.

13. Make your content scannable. Many people don’t want to take the time to read but if they can scan the post, and see that it will interest them, they will take the time to read it. You can make the post scannable by making important words bold.

14. Your blog should not be one bold page of advertisement. Use images that relate to your posts, but avoid the use of banner ads. If you use AdSense ads, don’t overwhelm the reader with the ads. The blog should be useful to the readers first and foremost not to the advertisers.

15. Shoot for a lower amount of traffic. You may think this is an insane concept, but it really isn’t. What you want is quality traffic not unqualified traffic in droves. The qualified traffic is where you will make your money.

16. Unless your blog does not have any other form of revenue, do not have buttons that ask for ‘donations’ or ‘tips.’ This works well only on blogs that are really not designed to be income producing blogs.

17. Know when to start a new blog, with a new topic. If after three or four months, your blog isn’t earning enough revenue, you have a problem. Either the topic isn’t profitable enough, you aren’t promoting the blog in the right way, or you aren’t producing a high enough quality blog. Either
make changes, or move to a new market.

While this not meant to be a complete blogging course, I hope it has made things easier for you. When I first started, there were courses similar to this one, but they were packed with “too much” information. I wanted something easy and quick!

I wish you the best in your online ventures and good luck

Tips for Reviewing and Filtering AdSense Ads

The process by which the Google AdSense program reviews and filters ads for their participating sites is a semi-automated one. Google has put in p lace strict policies for the content o f its ads, including bans on profanity and racially discriminatory content. These types of ads are automatically filtered out and will not be included on any participating site.
In addition to this automatic ad filtering, owners of participating sites are free to block ads they or their visitors may find offensive. This filtering is done through the use o f custom filters, and it is somewhat different than simply blocking a single advertiser (although that is possible as well). These filters are generally easy to use, and Google provides good assistance to their member sites in order to ensure only wanted ads are posted on the member sites.

Although it happens quite rarely, there are times that Google’s auto mated algorithms for determining web site content are not able to make a good match o f ads to the web site pages. In those cases, the publisher of the web site will be permitted to choose his or her own ads. If this does happen and you fail to make a choice, the site will automatically host a number of public service advertisements.
One of the best things about the Google AdSense program is that the look and feel of the ads can easily be customized in order to provide a consistent look and feel to the content on the web site. One of the key concepts of effective web design is to provide visitors to the web site with a consistent look and feel. This includes making sure that the same colors are used throughout all the pages, making sure that the fonts are consistent and being sure to make the navigation of the web site as intuitive and simple as possible.

Fitting the ads served by Google AdSense into this equation is generally a simple process, and a number o f tools are provided to make it easy to customize the look and feel of the ads being served. For instance, the Google AdSense program allows web site owners to customize the color and layout o f the ads in order to be more consistent with the rest o f the site. Web site owners are free to choose from the opt ions provided or to apply a custom layout and color to the ads. The advertisers do not have control over
This process; once their ads appear on your site you are free to customize t he text and control how it looks. This is a big advantage o f t he Google AdSense program, and one that many web site owners would not want to do without.

Since the customization of Google AdSense content is so easy to do, it is important for all web site owners to carefully consider how to format the ads they host. It is a good idea to periodically review the web site, and the targeted ads contained o n the site, in order to make sure that the ads served are appropriate. At the same time, it is a good idea to look at the overall look and feel o f t he web site, not only the ads themselves but how they fit into the overall look and feel of the web site. It is important that the ads not look jarring or out of place. If the ads do stick out, reformatting them to more closely match the look of the web site itself should help a lot. It is best for the ads to be unobtrusive but still easy to notice for the casual web site visitor.

This type of web site testing should be a staple activity for the owner or manager of any web based business. It is important to periodically go back to the web site with the eyes of a potential visitor. Look at things like how easy the site is to use and navigate, how intuitive it is, and o f course how relevant t he ads are to the content. This type of review, of both ad copy and web site content, is a great way to keep the site fresh and relevant month after month and year after year.
